This Olathe home received a complete exterior makeover that turned one of the neighborhood's most dated facades into its most admired. New siding, windows, roofing, and a custom front porch were complemented by professional landscaping and architectural lighting — creating a dramatic improvement in curb appeal, energy efficiency, and homeowner pride.

The Client's Goal

The homeowners wanted to modernize their home's exterior, improve energy efficiency with new windows and insulation, add a welcoming front porch, and create professional landscaping that would make the property stand out in the neighborhood.

The Challenge

The home had worn aluminum siding, old single-pane windows, a failing roof, a plain concrete slab entry, and overgrown landscaping. The exterior looked dated and did not reflect the quality of the recently renovated interior. Improving energy efficiency required more than surface-level changes.

Our Solution

We removed all old siding and installed new engineered wood siding in a modern charcoal and natural wood two-tone design. All windows were replaced with energy-efficient double-pane vinyl units. A new architectural shingle roof with improved ventilation was installed. We built a custom covered front porch with stone columns, a wood ceiling, and modern lighting. The landscaping was completely redesigned with native plants, ornamental grasses, a stone pathway, and LED outdoor lighting. We also added house wrap and rigid foam insulation behind the siding for maximum energy performance.
